What is involved in the treatment?
Begin with a gentle cleanse, erasing impurities and preparing your skin.
We start with the removal of velous hair and flaky cells through dermaplaning and then move onto our painless peel to give you a fresh glow.
Then we re-hydrate and plump the skin with our medical grade, CLINICCARE AHA+EGF skin booster, followed by the CLINICCARE Tight and Refresh sheet mask for an anti-aging and rejuvenation.
Lastly we will to the Filter Freedom post-treatment ritual — lightweight lip and eye cream, and our Derma Corrector Cream SPF 50, a fusion of moistening cream and broad-spectrum SPF for a naturally glowing, flawless finish.
We also offer the Cinderella Luxe Facial without the Dermaplane treatment, so if you have recently had a Dermaplane, don't worry!
Micro-needling
Collagen Induction Therapy
Micro-needling is also called Collagen Induction therapy (CIT), this is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment which uses tiny needles on a rolling style cylinder that is moved over the skin to create tiny puncture wounds.
This treatment is designed to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as scars on the face and body. The process stimulates the body’s natural collagen production by generating the wound healing response.
The micro-needles trick the skin into thinking it needs to heal and starts to produce new collagen and elastin cells in the papillary dermis. The formation of new capillary networks provide the skin with a ‘plump’ appearance.
This treatment is especially good when treated on scars and hyperpigmentation brought about by acne, wounds or sun exposure. Micro-needling breaks up old scar tissue and stimulates collagen and elastin production improving the appearance of the skin. CIT is used to reduce hyperpigmentation by shedding the top layer of skin and producing normal melanocytes. ​

What can I expect?
Your skin will be slightly pink in colour immediately after treatment and you may experience some mild bruising or bleeding depending on your treatment. 12 hours after your treatment you will be able to wash your face with cool water and your skin should have full recovery in around 24-72.

How often can I have this treatment?
It is recommended that 2-5 treatments in total is usually recommended to achieve maximum results. Each treatment can be given 4-8 weeks apart as the skin takes time to heal and build new cells. It is also recommended that you use medical grade skin care products in between treatments to enhance your results.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are an advanced facial treatment that aims at restoring and rejuvenating the skin. The procedure involves the application of a chemical product to your skin, which peels away damaged skin cells encouraging new healthy skin cells to replace them.
The effects from this treatment can reduce the appearance of blotchy skin discoloration, reduce acne scarring, assist in unclogging the skin, and assist in the removal of dead skin cells and toxins from the face by removing a portion of the epidermal layer.

There are many types of chemical peels available, the right one will be discussed at consultation. The effects will depend on a number of factors and repeat procedures are often required to gain the desired result.
How often can I have this treatment?

light peels can usually be completed every 4-6 weeks, heavier medium peels will be much longer, this will be discussed at consultation when your treatment plan will be discussed.

Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation procedure that requires the use of a sterile surgical scalpel to remove the top most layer of the dead skin, dirt and the fine vellus hair (‘peach fuzz’). This is a painless procedure just like a gentle exfoliation removing barriers of built up dead skin cells that contribute to dull and uneven looking skin. Removing the barrier aids your skin care products to be more penetrating and effective.

How often can I have this treatment?
This treatment can be taken monthly and takes around 30 minutes to complete not including your consultation. There is no downtime post treatment but there are some guidelines to aftercare which will be given to you on the treatment day or alternatively you can find the aftercare on the ‘aftercare’ tab.
